Gold amulet in the form of a crescent (or horns) with suspension loop. The loop was bent out of a broad strip of sheet, of which the edges had been folded over and soldered down to give a finish; it is soldered into slits carved into the solid gold crescent. The latter was cast and its surface has a slightly frosted look. The materials contains a speck of hard white metal.
Condition: Very good. The loop is very much worn; the amulet was probably worn during the owner’s lifetime.
Bronze balance or weight from a steelyard arm. Form of a hollow female bust, probably a Tyche, with triple headdress. Large loop on back of head.
Condition: Good. Base of base very slightly chipped.
25 ball beads (2 carnelian; 13 glass; 10 faience with blue and green glaze, 5 of faience being fluted, and 1 small spindle whorl or bead of dark brown stone.
