Bronze. Cast with socket and projecting blade at the back.
Legrain publication: "Bronze pick adze. It is of elegant proportions, and cast solid with the socket and the blade reinforcing it at the back. Metal ridges run round the socket and redeem the middle of the blade, giving them additional strength and grace. 181 x 80 mm."
Copper/bronze; almost half present; one end broken, the other forming part of a clasp (?); represents face of a man on each side, nose projects (one broken), projecting ears (?); two rows of stylized curls on forehead; back of head forms animal (?) head.
