Buffware body sherd, part of neck of jar, evenly fired, hard, with fine to medium sand temper, wheel-made. Surface slipped, with exterior painted decoration: double band (horizontal) across middle of sherd, with two diagonal lines above defining a triangular space which contains a "squiggle" arc; below the double band, four short vertical lines extending from bottom of double band, of varying lengths, three of which are connected at their ends by short diagonal hatches to their neighbor.SlippedPainted
